With Arc System Works celebrating its 25th anniversary tomorrow with ARC SYSTEM WORKS FESTIVAL, it wouldn’t be surprising if the developer had some major announcements planned for the occasion. One such announcement has already been revealed today: BlazBlue will be receiving an anime adaptation.

A mini-jacket that comes with the second volume of the BlazBlue Calamity Trigger light novel released today reveals that the popular fighting franchise will be adapted into an anime series in a “super extra-large project” that will “color the world blue.” As Arc System Works has yet to make an official announcement, this currently is the whole of any available information. Please note that the image above is from the cover of the light novel, not the anime itself.

I haven’t been drawing lately so here’s something new. This idea suddenly popped into my head one day. I just felt I needed to draw it. Speaking of Blazblue I’m looking forward to Chrono Phantasma!!
